We offer modern polymer-modified overlay systems, to restore AND beautify your existing concrete. Here's an example application, typical of many we've worked on. Note discolored old concrete with cracks and sides added with a different, aggregate finish.
Our Solution: Cracks repaired with concrete epoxy injections. Additional control joints were cut into slabs to minimize future cracking. Whole driveway resurfaced with polymer modified cementitious topping, then coated with lifetime concrete grey pigmented stain and clear-sealed. Note decorative border in tan, made of the same material. The result is a durable, attractive, easily maintained, stain and oil resistant and non-skid surface, that should last a lifetime.

Excerpt from the Concrete Network:

"Conventional wisdom holds that old concrete, with cracks, surface discoloration, or surface imperfections, must be removed and replaced if improving the look of the concrete is the goal. Many times homeowners are discouraged by their cement flooring or other concrete areas, not realizing the option available to them to resurface their already existing concrete.

Resurfacing concrete with polymer-modified overlay systems is a viable way to improve existing concrete surfaces.

Resurfacing can range from simply making the concrete look like new again, or upgrading the surface with a variety of colors and patterns. Whether it’s a concrete driveway, cement floor or patio, resurfacing options let you transform your old, often ugly, concrete into a new, smooth colored concrete surface. "

We do driveways, patios, pool decks, counter-tops, interior floors and walls in virtually any color and design!
Our overlays can be applied on vertical surfaces, such as the stairs in this photo. It can also be applied over bathroom tiles, your kitchen formica counter-tops and over your wood surfaces and outdoor decks! The possibilities are endless.
Diamond inlays in accent colors can be made from the same overlay materials. Over 170 base colors are available.
A natural stone finish, inspired by the verdigris lamp in this Oakland Hills home provides a dramatic look for the front steps. The textured finish also gives a non-slip surface, a big improvement over their previously painted steps.
